7 steps to get glowing skin in monsoon

Hello everyone!
The MONSOON is almost here and it becomes a little difficult to take care of our skin during MONSOON.

Most of the cases, our skin keeps fluctuating from being oily to dry or our skin starts producing excessive oil and sweat because of the huge change in the humidity levels in the atmosphere.
At this time we face various types of skin problems.

Here are some tips to solve your skin problems and make your skin glow during this monsoon:

As we know " PRECAUTION IS BETTER THAN CURE" .So, if we start taking care of our skin from now then the chance of facing various monsoon skin problems will reduce a lot.

CLEANSER:

  • Instead of using simple water to wash your face start using a mild gel/foaming face wash and do not forget to cleanse your face twice a day.

  •  You can cleanse your face in the morning and at the night before going to bed to get rid of all the excessive oil and gunk from your face. It also helps to take away all the bacterial infections which cause various skin problems.

  •  Try to add more natural ingredient-based products in your skincare bucket. You can try BIOTIQUE HONEY/PINEAPPLE FOAMING FACE WASHES. Which is packed with natural ingredients and budget-friendly also.

TONER/FACE MIST:

  •  Using a toner or a face mist after washing your face is one of the best skin care habits. Take a non-alcoholic toner on a cotton pad and swipe it over your entire face, neck, and chest.

  •  Use a toner just after washing your face, and before applying serum or moisturizer. Face toners prep your skin for moisturizer while getting rid of excess oil and stubborn dirt or makeup residues on your skin after you wash it.

  • Or, You can also spray some refreshing facial mist whenever your skin feels dull and lifeless.

  • Rosewater acts as a great toner or facial mist or you can try KHADI NATURALS CUCUMBER TONER, BIOTIQUE BIO CUCUMBER TONER and GOOD VIBES ROSE FACE MIST is also a good option.

 MOISTURIZER:

  • Your skin needs moisturization in monsoon as well. Moisturize your skin with lightweight non-sticky,oil-free moisturizer which will help to hydrate your skin without making it oily and sweaty.

  • Use a moisturizer after applying your toner and massage it well until it absorbs into your skin completely.

  •  You can try Biotique bio morning lotion, Neutrogena oil-free moisturizer or Himalaya oil-free gel moisturizer would be a great option as well.

SUNSCREEN:

  • Using sunscreen is one of the most important steps of the skincare routine. No matter what the season it is, no matter what the climate it is, you should always wear a good sunscreen whenever you are stepping out from home.

  •  Use a nonoily gel-based sunscreen. You can use the palm green tea sunscreen gel, Neutrogena ultra sheer dry touch sunblock. ( or, you can use whatever suits your skin type)

  FACE PACK:

  •  Try to use a face pack which is clay-based Or you can include gram flour, fuller earth to your pamper routine.

  •  Fruit face pack would be a great option or you can DIY a face pack on your own.
Mix 2 tbsp fuller earth with some rose water or with some cucumber juice and spared it evenly o your face leave there for 15 minutes and rinse it off with regular water. It will refresh your skin and add a natural glow. Use this once or twice a week for the best result.

  • Or If you want something ready-made then try Himalaya, Khadi naturals face packs. They have a huge range to choose from.

NIGHT CREAM;

  •  NIGHT CREAM is one of the most essential steps in your skincare regime. It will help to heal your skin overnight which gives a healthy glow on your face the next morning.

  • Go with more natural options to treat your skin well at night. Use a night cream that has more natural ingredients.

  • You can try Mamaearth overnight repair night cream or Himalaya revitalizing night cream is also a budget-friendly option.

SHEET MASK:

  •  If you are in the mood of pampering your skin a little more, SHEET MASKS can be a great option in this monsoon. SHEET MASKS are filled with serums that are loaded with vitamins and minerals. The sheet on your face helps the serum to soak in your skin a little longer and it also brightens and makes your skin firm.

  • You can use sheet masks once or twice a week according to your skin preferences.

  •  Try the sheet masks from Nykaa, the Face Shop, or good vibes. They are easily available, quality is good and budget-friendly too.
