Let’s see this face scrub fulfills its claim or not and I will be sharing my honest experience with this product.

HIMALAYA CLEAR COMPLEXION WHITENING FACE SCRUB is a pure blend of LICORICE, WHITE DRAMMER & APRICOT. These two amazing ingredients maintain the rate of melanin synthesis and brighten your skin tone, while the apricot granules present is this face scrub gently exfoliate dead skin cells, blackheads and remove the skin impurities.

 KEY INGREDIENTS:

Licorice, White Dammer, Apricot.

CONSISTENCY:

The consistency of this face scrub is creamy. It has a whitish creamy texture but the apricot granules are not very fine. They are little chunky; it might be a little harsh for sensitive skin people but I like its texture overall and this cleanses the face quite well without making it dry or tight.

FRAGRANCE:

The face scrub has a subtle fragrance of white dammer and apricot. The smell is quite mild and pleasant but fades away right after applying.

HOW TO USE: 

Apply HIMALAYA CLEAR COMPLEXION WHITENING FACE SCRUB on a cleaned damp face and massage it gently for around 30 to 40 seconds in a circular motion. Rinse with regular water and pat dry your face. Follow with toner and moisturizer.

MY EXPERIENCE WITH HIMALAYA CLEAR COMPLEXION WHITENING FACE SCRUB:

I have been using this face scrub for around 4 months now.

So! Let’s talk about my experience with this product. First of all, I am a big Himalaya fan and love to use their different types of products. I have been using and loving their two face scrubs first HIMALAYA NEEM FACE SCRUB ( Click here to see the review of Himalaya neem face scrub) & second is this one for quite long.

I prefer to take light steam on my face before using any scrub, Steaming helps open your pores and when your pores are open, it becomes a lot easier to remove the dead skin cells from the deep inside.

After taking steam for around 5 minutes, I damp my skin with a little bit of water and start massaging this scrub gently in a circular motion. I continue this process for 40 seconds and rinse it off with regular water.

I scrub my face twice a week. (please do not use a scrub every day, I will harm your skin in the long run)

 

It gives a moisturized and subtle glow to my face instantly after using this. It does not dry out the face at all. But the granules might be a little harsh on sensitive skin, but perfectly ok for oily to combination skin people, like me.

 

Let’s see this product fulfills its claim or not:

• The face scrub removes the dead skin cells and impurities quite well, it really cleanses the skin from deep inside.
• Honestly, I don’t know about the ‘even tone’ claim, I did not notice as such effect but yes! it refreshes the skin and gives a healthy glow.
• It is quite effective on removing dark spots, my all acne scars have been faded away after using this. But you have to have lots of patience and consistency with this scrub. Use this for at least one month for visible results on your acne marks and dark spots.  

 

PROS:

• It does not dry out the skin.
• Available almost everywhere.
• Budget-friendly.
• Quantity is good.
• It purifies the skin and gives a healthy glow.

CONS:

The apricot granules are little chunky and harsh, which might not be a very good option for sensitive skin people.

 

MY RECOMMENDATION AND RATINGS:

Well, I am impressed with this product and this suits my skin quite well. I will give 4 out of 5 to this face scrub and will highly recommend to people with oily and combination skin. If you are suffering from acne scars and dark spots all over your face then definitely give this a try. However, if you have super sensitive and excessively dry skin the granules can harm your skin, it might give you rashes and redness. So!  Keep this in mind.
