Acne and pimple problem, which is upon several women’s list of skin concerns, not only women, nowadays, many men and teenagers also suffer from this problem. Honestly, I was one of these teenagers back in my college days. I suffered a lot with severe acne problems, especially on my forehead. I’ve tried lots of different skin products, different brands, home remedies but those were doing nothing.

Then, I’ve started implementing little changes into my daily life and my skincare habits that actually worked for me pretty well and showed a visible difference on my acne, now my skin is completely acne-free and looks healthy.

Often, we do lots of different things to cure our acnes, even we try expensive skin-care products, maintain a healthy diet, start taking advises from different people,

But, if you don’t start implementing these small habits in your daily life those skincare, diets, advises will do nothing for your acne and pimple.

So! Here are 9 steps to get rid of acne and pimples naturally At Home that improved my skin texture and cured my acne, and surely will do the same for you too.

 

  • WASH YOUR HANDS:

This is the most important but negligible step that we often miss before starting with our skin care, do wash your hands with a good antibacterial hand wash before touching your face. Our unwashed hands contain lots of germs and bacteria that transfer on our chin and cheeks whenever we touch our faces.

So, make sure that your hands are completely clean before touching your face and starting with your skincare.

  • KNOW YOUR SKIN TYPE:

Especially, many of the teenagers start using different skincare products without knowing their particular skin type, (when I was a teenager, even I did the same 😉). If you use products just because someone recommended you, or you find interesting by seeing some ads or something, please do not do this. Having acne-problem has no age limit and no skin types, so there are many products in the market that can mislead you.

So! know your skin type first and then start taking care of it.

  • DO NOT POP IT UP:

You are not alone! Most of us can’t resist squeezing annoying zits that always pop up right before a special event, but do you know that when you pop the acne, all the bacteria and dirt transfer from your fingers into the zit? that may end up leading to long term harm for your skin and more acne.

So! Do not pop it up or touch your active acne rather you can do some spot treatments to get rid of them quickly. Give it 3 or 4 days, your acne will dry up automatically.

  • FOLLOW BASIC SKINCARE ROUTINE:

A good skincare routine is most important to stay your skin in good condition. Following a good skincare routine will heal your skin after having acne also, reduce the chance of having more new pimples and acne. Follow simple C-T-M steps, cleansing, toning, moisturizing, it will help prevent acne and keep your skin looking its best.

  • EXTENDED SKINCARE ROUTINE:

You can extend these simple C-T-M steps furthermore, follow a good weekly skincare routine, including scrubbing, massaging, and using a face pack or a sheet mask. (I am doing this for 4 years now, it really helped me to improve my skin texture and my skin acne-free 😊). Use natural ingredient-based skin cares as much as you can, those will help heal your skin naturally.

  • SAY NO TO OIL:

Do not use any kind of oils for your skincare, oils can be pore-clogging for those with oily, acne-prone, or even combination skin, rather use skin cares which are more water-based, lotion or gel-like consistency and non-comedogenic. Choose your skincare products carefully.

  • HEAL THEM WITH ICE:

Rub ice cubes directly on the top of the acne, it reduces inflammation and size of your active acne and pimples, ice cubes help to minimize the pores and prevent the acne to grow further. You can simply make some more beneficial ice cubes on your own, mix cucumber juice or some aloe gel with water, freeze it in an ice tray, use them whenever needed. Try to use at least twice or thrice a day for better results.

  • CHOOSE SKIN-FRIENDLY FOODS:

Say no to dairy products, sweets, junk, and oily foods, include more fatty fish, fruits, salads, green veggies in your diet for getting acne free glowing skin, also drink loads and loads of water for clear skin.

  • BE STRESS-FREE:

One of the biggest reasons for having acne is stress, Stress-related hormones can increase oil production and inflammation in the skin, leading to clogged pores and more acnes. SO! try not to stress more and start living a healthy life, you can simply walk or do some exercise for better results.

These are some simple steps we often forget to follow in our daily life that causes more acnes and pimples, no matter how hard we try to get rid of those.

Don’t rush, be gentle with your skin, take care of it regularly, follow this simple steps you will surely start noticing a visible difference on your acnes and pimples in just 4 to 5 weeks.

However, if you have a severe acne problem, which is getting out of hand day by day, besides following these steps, please consult a good doctor also.
