Biotique Bio Carrot Face Lotion SPF 40++ UVA/UVB Review||

  we all know how important sunscreen is for our health and skin. Wearing sunscreen is one of the crucial parts of our skincare. Sunscreen minimizes the penetration of UV rays into the skin and prevents several skin problems. It also helps to protect the visible signs of premature aging and gives you healthier skin. Even sunscreen is very effective in reducing the risk of developing various skin cancers.

So, Today I will be sharing my honest experience on sunscreen from an Indian brand called, BIOTIQUE. It is their BIOTIQUE BIO CARROT 40++ SPF UVA/UVB SUNSCREEN ULTRA SOOTHING FACE LOTION.

Let's see this sunscreen fulfills its claims or not.

BRAND DESCRIPTION:

  BIOTIQUE is an Indian brand which mostly produces ayurvedic products based on botanical extracts of plants, herbs, and trees. All BIOTIQUE products are Dermatologist tested, Organically pure and preservative free. 

 

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

The nutrient-rich lotion is blended with pure carrot oil, extracts of carrot seed and lodhra bark, aloe Vera and many more natural ingredients.

It will help to make your skin soft, fair, glowing, and moisturized in the sun. It has SPF 40 which protects the skin from the harmful uva and UVB.

On the level of the sunscreen, there is much information has given about the product, like brand description, ingredients list and manufacturing details, etc. We can easily read all the information before buying and this product is made for all skin types.  

 

PACKAGING:

BIOTIQUE BIO CARROT 40++ SPF UVA/UVB SUNSCREEN ULTRA SOOTHING FACE LOTION  comes with an orange tube packaging with a flip cap. The packaging is quite sturdy and travels friendly. I personally, prefer tube or bottle packaging instead of tubs, because of they more hygienic options. So! For this reason, the packaging of this sunscreen is my favorite. It is hygienic and also super easy to use.

INGREDIENTS:

Parijat patra- 3.0%, gajar root-2.0%, Lodhra brak-1.0%,Ankurit gehun seed-1.0%, Yasad bhasm- 1.0%, Singejarahata powder-2.0%, bees wax-7.5%, sunflower oil- 10.5%, Purifies water- Q.s

 

HOW TO USE:

Squeeze a little more a pea-sized amount into your palm, apply to cheeks using gentle circular motions. Apply evenly over cleansed face and neck before any sun exposure. Apply daily to prevent the risk of skin aging, skin cancer, and other harmful effects of the sun.

MY EXPERIENCE  WITH BIOTIQUE BIO CARROT 40++ SPF UVA/UVB SUNSCREEN ULTRA SOOTHING FACE LOTION :

According to me, a good SUNSCREEN should be a must-have product in everyone’s skincare list. And I am a person who never ever skip using a sunscreen.

I have used quite a lot of sunscreen and different brands in the past 4 years and this BIOTIQUE BIO CARROT SUNSCREEN is in my skin care bucket for almost one or two years now.

I use this sunscreen daily after washing my face with a face wash, since I have combination skin, I also apply toner before using this. And one thing that you should keep in mind that all sunscreens contains more or fewer chemicals so, always wear your sunscreen before applying a coat of lightweight moisturizer.

 So! I take the required amount of this sunscreen on my palm and massage this all over my face gently at least before 15 minutes of any sun exposure.

 Since I am a person who sweats a lot, I have to reapply this every 1 or 2 hours.

Honestly, it gives a subtle glow on the face after applying without leaving any white cast.

If you love to wear makeup on a daily basis, you can easily use this sunscreen underneath your make up. I do not have to use makeup on a daily basis, so I just apply some face powder after using this. It does not even make your face dark, which many of us complain about sunscreen.

It has a white lotion-like texture which is perfect for oily skin too. However, if you have excessively oily skin it will give you an extra shine which you may not like. 

It has SPF 40++ and gives protection from harmful UVA/UVB rays, which is perfect for you if you stay outdoors for long hours. 

 

 It suits perfectly on my combination skin and It doesn't break me out. I love how my skin feels after using this.

Overall, I like this sunscreen and it almost fulfills its every claim, will definitely going to repurchase this. If you are looking for a good ayurvedic sunscreen, I highly recommend you give it a try for at least once.

PROS:

•  Good affordable, Ayurvedic sunscreen.
• Quantity is good at this price.
• Gives a subtle glow without leaving any white cast.
• Doesn't break out.

• Can be used underneath your makeup.
• Lightweight and absorbs quickly.

CONS:

Since this is lotion-based, lightweight sunscreen, you have to reapply this, if you sweat a lot.

 

MY RECOMMENDATION AND RATINGS:

I will give 4 out of 5 to this BIOTIQUE BIO CARROT SUNSCREEN.

I will absolutely recommend this product do dry skin, normal skin, and sensitive skin people. If you have excessively oily and sweaty skin you might not like this. However, it works perfectly well for my combination skin. It does not break me out and gives a nice subtle glow to my face.

 Will I repurchase BIOTIQUE BIO CARROT SUNSCREEN?

Yes!  I think this is a 3rd tube or something and I will definitely repurchase this as soon I finish this.
